You’re Invited! 2021 Economic Inclusion Conference @ Coppin (EICAC)

Coppin State University, College of Business, Center for Strategic Entrepreneurship (CSE) will host the 2021 Economic Inclusion Conference at Coppin (EICAC) on April 15 and 16 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The virtual conference will mark the return of the 2016 EICAC. The 2016 event attracted a broad range of stakeholders from all levels of the public and private sectors, including academia, government, corporations, community groups, entrepreneurs, and others. The virtual format has enabled us to expand our projected audience.

The theme of the 2021 EICAC is The New Academic Innovation Hub: Entrepreneurial Practices for Post-Pandemic Prosperity, focusing on emerging trends in entrepreneurial ecosystems and critical roles of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the economic well-being of the nation, especially in sectors where people of color have historically been underrepresented in leadership and ownership positions. The event will be a fast-paced learning and networking experience with concurrent sessions, panel discussions, individual interviews, stakeholder highlight segments, and more.

The loss of 40% of Black businesses during the ongoing global health crisis and the current awareness of longstanding inequity highlights the urgency of our efforts. Join us for this free event. Let’s assess, reset, and build.
