Easter Traditions
People across the globe have or will soon celebrate Easter. This holiday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his death by crucifixion. This year many have or will celebrate in their homes for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This past Sunday, those who celebrated didn’t let the pandemic stop some of their traditions of painting eggs in festive colors, buying chocolate bunnies, or hosting their own egg hunts for children. Christians tuned in to watch online services to partake in celebrations such as music, candle lightings, ringing church bells and so much more. Happy Easter and wishing you many happy celebrations to come!
