A group know by the name of Maryland COVID Vaccine Hunters has put together resources to provide advice and better assist people navigate through the appointment process. Below is a spreadsheet with information on each of the locales around Maryland offering vaccinations (i.e CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Giants, etc.) with details on how to navigate their websites and what times and days of the week they tend to release new appointments. The Reisterstown Improvement Association (RIA) is opening up applications for at least $125,000 in Small Business Grants for businesses in the Reisterstown Main Street district, to help small businesses recover from the effects of COVID-19.
I was happy to be a lead sponsor of Resolution 154-19, which has now come into fruition and provided these necessary funds to assist small businesses. Grants are capped at $10,000 per business, but amount sizes will be determined according to the number of applicants, degree of need, and availability of current and anticipated funding, among other factors. You can also click the on the link below to complete an online application. These documents were developed cooperatively between RIA, the Northwest Chamber of Commerce (NWCC), and various government agencies, with RIA serving as the awardee and lead administrator of the program. Link:
The application period is Monday, Feb 22, 2021 through Friday, March 12 at 5:00PM, and grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis!
