As the first African-American Chairman of the Baltimore County Council, I’ve been called to fight for justice when others were not prepared to lead.
That was true in 2019 when I introduced the Baltimore County HOME Act. Once thought impossible, under my leadership, we passed the HOME Act and banned source of income discrimination.
It was true just last year when I supported the construction of a new health center to address the health needs of County community members.
When justice is on the line, the people of Baltimore County need leaders who will be bold and do what must be done. That is what I’ll do as long as you continue to trust me with the duty of public service.
