SUNDAY: Van Hollen Joins COVID Relief NOW Coalition Virtual Rally to Call on Governor to Release Rainy Day Funds to Support Marylanders Impacted by COVID-19

(WASHINGTON – January 9, 2021) – On Sunday, January 10, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) will join the COVID Relief NOW Coalition, along with Maryland elected officials and community leaders for a virtual emergency rally to discuss the urgent need for the Governor to release additional relief funds to support Maryland’s struggling families, workers, and small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Senator Van Hollen – who previously urged the Governor to release these funds in a June 2020 letter – will underscore the immediate need to act, given the severity of the public health and economic crisis affecting Marylanders.
