Two New Grants with Funds for Greening and Beautification

Good day, everyone!  Now that it is fall, it’s grant season time.   Two more greening and beautification grants from the state of Maryland have been released:
-Keep Maryland Beautiful provides grants of up to $5,000 for greening and beautification projects. Deadline is Nov. 12. Funds need to be used by February 28, 2022.  The projects can be greening, beautification, resident engagement and community engagement.   Here is the url:   https://dnr.maryland.gov/met/Pages/Grant-EE-CI-CU.aspx
-Baltimore National Heritage Area’s Neighborhood Placemaking Grants-Projects must be in the Baltimore National Heritage Area (which includes most but not all of Baltimore). Grants can be from $1500 to $5000, but must provide one-to-one match. The projects can be festivals, planning and feasibility studies, and greening projects. Deadline is December 10.
