(BALTIMORE – June 1, 2020) – Yes. You’re damn right! Anarchists are not widely-discussed in Baltimore. It is not a typical part of the Baltimore lexicon like ‘hon’. Anarchists, on the other hand, are as popular as all outdoors in cities like Portland, Oregon (where a police station was raided) and Seattle, Washington – places that saw widespread protests and looting this weekend. The participants were mostly white.

Protests in Baltimore on Friday and Saturday – protests that started off peacefully – ended up in mayhem. And anarchists were responsible for it, also.

Increasingly, one sees whites with backpacks canvassing the Black community – typically for drugs.

Darnyle Wharton, a Baltimore activist, noted in a Facebook LIVE broadcast how many of the Baltimore protesters were unfamiliar faces. With 10 plus years of activism under his belt, he would clearly know who is from Baltimore and who is not.

City Hall, just a couple of blocks from the Inner Harbor, was a sight of such outlandish behavior. Out of town protesters came to Baltimore to instigate unrest, just as we saw during Freddie Gray, and then return to their homes in other states.

It is difficult to imagine that people actually have the time and energy to devote to helping this country implode. It is, in fact, domestic terrorism. No, not necessarily the Ku Klux Klan; however, one can’t put anything past them.

So, here’s something to consider. Ever heard of Antifa? According to wikipedia:

The antifa or ANTIFA (/ænˈtfə, ˈæntiˌfɑː/)[1] movement in the United States is a far-left,[2][3][4][5][6] anti-fascistmilitant political activist movement[12][17] that comprises autonomous activist groups that aim to achieve their political objectives through the use of direct action rather than through policy reform.[18][19][20] Activists engage in varied protest tactics, including digital activism, property damage and physical violence, and harassment against those whom they identify as fascist, racist, or on the far-right.[28]

Individuals involved in the movement tend to hold anti-capitalist[29] views and subscribe to a range of ideologies such as anarchism (particularly anarcho-communism),[30] communism and Marxism,[30] socialism,[30] and social democracy.

The real scary part is imagining all of these hate groups coming together with the sole purpose of destroying America and setting it on a path of self-destruction. I think we have the case of a lot of grown little boys who have nothing better to do with their time than selfishly play with their lethal toys to everybody’s detriment.

Now, imagine protesting the murder of George Floyd …. peacefully … in Baltimore, and the next thing you know some anarchists from somewhere else gets to poppin’ off at the mouth – busting a window here and there, and ultimately helping to send Baltimore backwards to the spring of 2015. Well, that’s what Baltimore was like this weekend.

And let me just add, when I consider all of the new white addicts in places like Sandtown, often wearing backpacks – they sure remind me of what I saw in Portland a few years back. So, my question is have the anarchists made their way East and are simply disguising themselves as addicts in the ‘hood? I’ve reported many times on this new phenomena of whites who have flocked to the Black community in this post-Freddie Gray area. Now, it’s all starting to make sense.
