Because of the COVID-19 crisis, thousands of Baltimoreans are out of work and many are facing food insecurity. Team Dixon, along with City Council Candidate Joe Kane (District 14), will be conducting a Food Drive & Food Giveaway Friday April 24th (tomorrow) and Saturday April 25th.
Food Drive: We will be collecting non-perishable donations at the Dixon Campaign Headquarters from 12-5 P.M. tomorrow, Friday, April 24th. The following items are always needed (and extremely popular): Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Macaroni & Cheese, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Family Sized Boxes of Cereal, Family Sized Fruit Juice, Canned Pasta, Canned Soup, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Baby Diapers, Baby Wipes, Shampoo, Body Wash, Toothpaste and Feminine Hygiene Products.
Boxes will be set up from 12-5 P.M. outside of the Dixon Campaign Headquarters, 2330 N Howard Street in Baltimore, 21218. Masks and gloves will be required for those dropping off donations.
Food Give Away: Food items will be distributed by Team Dixon and the Kane campaign on Saturday, April 25, starting at 11am and ending when all donations are gone. Again, masks and gloves will be required for those picking up donations.
Thank you for your generosity during this incredibly difficult time. If you have any questions please feel free to call the Dixon for Mayor Campaign Headquarters (443) 708-2792 or Joe Kane: 443-726-7599.
