The event will feature speakers, panels, and a keynote from Ron Busby, CEO of the US Black Chambers, Inc., based in Washington, D.C.
Other speakers include noted business executive, author, and owner of her on beauty care line (NELLA, LLC), Pamela Reaves. With a wealth of business experience, we are eager to hear her latest accomplishments. Since 2011, Bmorenews and its partners have been celebrating entrepreneurship by way of the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. To date, over 1,500 Black entrepreneurs and professionals have been honored along with the people who support them regardless of race.
Pam Reaves is the Founder of NELLA, LLC. As a Certified Professional Coach, Pam inspires, motivates, and helps clients develop a second-nature awareness of their inner power so that they are equipped to live life from a Position of Power in all aspects. NELLA, LLC is the umbrella under which she operates her power coaching practice, facilitates empowerment seminars, speak at conferences, and promote her books. Her first book, “Is It Love or Merely a Sick Attachment” (Tate Publishing & Enterprises – 2011), has reached readers as far away as the continents of Africa and Australia. She collaborated with 24 other women to pen the book, “The GlamourLESS Side of Entrepreneurship – What They Didn’t Tell You” (2012), and in July 2014, released her first fictional novel, “Loving Scott Harrington – Bound By Dark and Dangerous Affections.” (NELLA LLC Publication – 2014). This thrilling novel is soon to be released as “The Emancipation of Scott Harrington.” Pam has also created a series of booklets entitled “Queendom Principles”.
Pam holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management; has received certification from New York University’s School of Real Estate, Johns Hopkins School of Real Estate; and has completed extensive seminar training at the Practicing Law Institute in New York City. She has also received Management Training Certification from Dale Carnegie Institute. Pam has more than 40 years of progressive experience working and thriving in diverse corporate cultures in the areas of human resource, labor relations, finance, legal, and real estate. She has worked for several major corporations listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and has worked directly with some of the most highly regarded Wall Street senior executives.
In addition to managing her own growing business, Pam is still working in the corporate arena. For over 30 years she has been a corporate real estate professional with expertise in lease and contract negotiation, dispute and conflict resolution, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, project planning, divestitures, team building, and talent management. In the industry of commercial lease negotiations, she is lauded as one of the most knowledgeable and assertive lease and contract negotiators. She has represented global tenants as well as national landlords while leading high performance teams that produce lucrative results to corporate bottom lines.
Pam has appeared on a number of radio talk shows, and participated in numerous blog-radio talk shows. She has shared her expertise as a relationship columnist with the readers of several online publications. Pam is a recipient of an impressive list of awards including: Black Wall Street, National Association of Professional Women, Woman of the Year; and Covington’s Whose Who VIP. Her first book has been used as a teaching tool by Ray of Hope Kenya. Ray of Hope Kenya’s women’s empowerment initiative was birthed out of the book’s exploration of healthy versus toxic relationships. Pam has also been a featured author and speaker at a host of other cultural events, book festivals, and expos. As a mature woman, she has been honored to represent small businesses with her image as: “The Face of Rosebud – 2014”; and “The Trendy 4U Woman”. In 2015, Pam introduced her natural skincare line of products called “Essentially Good.”
