Airport Minority Advisory Council’s Economic Opportunity and Policy Forum hosted by BWI-Marshall Airport at the Washington Marriott Metro Center from September 11-12, 2019

The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and BWI Marshall Airport partnered to host the AMAC Economic Opportunity and Policy Forum at the Washington Marriott Metro Center from September 11-12, 2019 in Washington, DC.

Day one focused on economic opportunities with the Maryland Aviation Administration and the surrounding Eastern Region and day two focused on AMAC’s legislative agenda where attendees had the opportunity to engage with lawmakers and regulators to discuss the importance of the DBE program.

This forum was filled with optimal networking and advocacy opportunities to voice opinions to decision makers who can impact real change and help policymakers understand the challenges and opportunities of operating in the aviation industry. Additionally, there were panels and presentations on key topics by a range of Congressional and Administration leaders.
