(BALTIMORE – June 24, 2019) – Well, it’s almost here! “25 Years a Journalist”, a wine sip and roast honoring Bmorenews publisher Doni Glover, is set for this Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Winthrop House located at 4100 N. It wouldn’t be a “Doni Glover event” without the coveted Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. Since 2011, Bmorenews and its partners have been recognizing Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. To date, over 1,500 individuals have been honored in 6 US cities: New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Atlanta and New Orleans.
Honorees for Tuesday include Jock Schofield of Melanin Films.
