(LARGO, MD – February 15, 2019) – Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks – through partnerships with the County’s Office of Community Relations, Office of Human Resources Management, and Community of Hope AME Church – will host an in-person application event for the County’s Youth @ Work, Summer Youth Enrichment Program (SYEP). SYEP is the County’s summer jobs program that is doubling in size under County Executive Alsobrooks, and she hopes to significantly increase the number and diversity of applicants this year by bringing local government directly into the community.
This event is designed for youth who are interested in applying for SYEP but may have trouble accessing or completing the online application at home. Program representatives for SYEP will be available on-site to assist with the application process and answer any questions for those attending. All Prince George’s County residents between the ages of 14-22 are eligible to apply.
More information about SYEP can be found online at YouthAtWork.mypgc.us.
