Moses Hammett has been a champion for disrupting poverty and serving the citizens of Baltimore since the Center for Urban Families (CFUF) opened its doors. Moses has been working right alongside me for more than 20 years to build programs and systems to support families to achieve their financial and family goals. Moses is a national leader in the economic development and fatherhood arenas.
It is with bittersweet emotions that I announce that Moses has transitioned out of his full-time role within the Center for Urban Families. However, Moses will continue to be an integral part of CFUF’s story. Moses will be working with CFUF in a contractual capacity, while he is also seeking to expand his reach into other areas. Change is often difficult to accept, but if there is no growth, there is no progress, and we should all congratulate Moses and celebrate his next chapter.
We will be celebrating Moses’s countless contributions to CFUF and the City of Baltimore at a special dedication ceremony on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Center for Urban Families, 2201 North Monroe Street, Baltimore, MD 21217. We would be honored, if you would attend to celebrate Moses with us.
