Ms. Sharon D. Sauls is a moving force among notable female Executives and Entrepreneurs. She has a distinguished professional career with a combined 25 years of leadership experience as executive, entrepreneur, ministry leader, business consultant, and professor. She has served in various leadership capacities in the healthcare, human services, faith-based, and hospitality industries.
She founded and served as CEO of the only African American-owned for-profit outpatient neurological rehabilitation company in the United States. Ms. Sauls also served as the first Executive Director of Operations for a progressive megachurch in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Among her most recent outstanding accomplishments are the establishing of BE LED Consulting, a firm with a team of business consultants who provides leadership consulting, training, development and mentoring for business owners and leadership teams, pastors and church leaders, as well as newly promoted and aspiring leaders. In addition, she was honored to accept the offer to serve as a Vice President of Training and Leadership Development for Central Region of Maryland Chick-fil-A Organization. To “give back”, Ms. Sauls is an Adjunct Professor at the Southern New Hampshire University where she teaches graduate level organizational leadership and business management courses and she is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Largo, MD.
She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, a Master of Science degree in Business Management, and is currently conducting research on The impact that Leaders’ Emotional Intelligence has on Employee/Follower Engagement, as the final requirement for a Doctor of Management degree in Organizational Leadership.
