(WASHINGTON – February 14, 2018) – The “I Am An Entrepreneur” Small Business Conferenc is set for this Saturday, February 17, 2018 (11 am to 2 pm) at the Earl G. Graves School of Business at Morgan State University, located at 4100 Hillen Rd. in the Northwood Plaza. The event will feature three panels, networking, and the coveted Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. Guest speakers include Mojisola Edu (Lush of Lushradioonline & Nubes Global Tech, LLC).

Who is Mojisola Edu?

Mojisola Edu, also known as Lush, is an individual with a vision, the voice of the people, Disabled US Army Veteran, and a force to be reckoned with. She has a BA in Business Administration from Keiser University. She Has Certification for Business Administration from Georgetown University Business School. She is an Alumni of the Dog Tag Inc. Fellowship.  She is a life time member of WVI (Women Veterans Interactive) and she also sits on the board of the directors for WINC: for All female veterans.   She is former elementary school, high school teacher and special education one on one teacher. She is an award-winning radio personality. She is also, the face of Challenge Aspen CAMO.

With 18 years in the entertainment and media industry, she is an award-winning internet Radio Personality. Lush is the go-to person for contracts, Public Relations (PR), and anything dealing with branding. She is a PR specialist, Artist Manager, Multi-media specialist, celebrity photographer, videographer, and business consultant.  She has interacted with and interviewed various celebrities including NFL players, artists, and actors.

Lush is one of today’s most prominent and determined rising females in the entertainment industry. Born in OYO State Nigeria and raised in Queens, NY, Lush (now residing in DMV) is passionate about many projects in a traditionally male dominated industry. At age of 27, she founded her very own online radio station entitled LUSH RADIO ONLINE.

Inspired to want an outlet for women of today’s society, Lush created the STREET QUEENZ THE MOVEMENT (THE SISTAHOOD) panel to appear on the show which consists of five additional ladies who are all established in the industry in various ways. The show covers serious topics such as politics, self-esteem, diseases, sex, the economy, and is a place where panelists support each other’s ambitions.

With many charity projects on her plate such as, Christmas with the Street Queenz, which includes adopting a family for Christmas, toy drives for unfortunate children and collecting letters and Christmas cards to brighten up the holidays for prison inmates; Lush still finds time to be an activist for the homeless. She is an active member in Women’s Veteran Interactive (WVI) which supports homeless female veterans and she and her partners host an annual Father’s Day cook out to support children who have lost their fathers in the city of Baltimore. She has given $500 scholarships to high school students of Eleanor Roosevelt high school for under privileged students going to college.  She also created her own essay contest about “What Education Means to Me” at John Bayne Elementary where she was a teacher at the time. The students received different prizes from sponsors she had recruited. She also, in 2015 create a contest called “Queen Survivor of the Year of Year” where she selected a woman that has been through hardships and gave the winner a total pamper day. Which included a day at the nail shop, a celebrity make- up artist, a brand-new dress, custom wig, a hundred dollars, a celebrity chef cook breakfast for her and her family.  Lush believes in giving back, because she was homeless before with her own child.

Also, as the CEO for Diverse Media Group, LLC, a multimedia marketing and consulting company, Lush continues her promotional ventures by hosting mix-tapes, parties, and events as well as interviewing aspiring and established artists on her weekly radio show. She is also a motivational speaker. She has spoken in the school system as a teacher and mentor. She has spoken in churches in the PG County area. She spoke at the women in the industry “relationship panel” on how to balance family and the industry.  She is a former substitute teacher for Prince George’s County Schools and worked one-on-one with children with Individual Education Plans. She is also the CEO and President of Nubes Global Tech, LLC which is a woman-veteran owned IT consulting and government contracting business.

Mojisola has worked with such clients as Roxxane Shante, Micheline Bowman, MNSMEDIA, Glenn Jackson (Creator of Golden Scissors Awards), E2k Enterprises, Tionna Smalls, Erotique Liquor, and Allied Marketing in DC. She was also one of the official photographers and videographers for the 2013 “Ambassador’s inaugural ball”.  Has worked with Belizean Pepper Sauce, The Lil Key Shop as a brand manager.  She has Challenge America.  She has been featured on the Hill, The Washington Post, The Washingtonian and more.

Lush is also the first lady of GAMPHACE (an inspirational company that provides motivational t-shirts and apparel), affiliated with coast2coastdjs as a DJ/online radio personality and GM for Barz and Bra Strapz for DMV (female battle league founded by Sara Kana). She is also a member of African United Dj and an Agent for IHHP (International Hip-Hop Parade in the Bronx starting 2013 in the Bronx). Lush is the owner of all female business call 2chicksN.Acamera which does photography, video work and websites. She has interned at Radio One with one of the Biggest FM radio personalities in the DMV, Ezstreet of 93.9 WKYS.  She is known as the people’s voice and speaks for those who need a voice. Lush continues to change the world one day at a time by the double E method (Educating and Entertaining). Lush is the Winner of 2014 Social media / Radio personality award at The Female hip hop honors in LA and she also received an award and recognition from’s Black Wall Street Awards. She received recognition from the Attorney General of Maryland for her work with the community in 2014 and in 2016, she received another Black Wall Street Award for her continued work in the media community. She was presented with the Beacon of Light award by the CEO of Women Veterans Interactive Ginger Miller, (White House Champion of Change) for all her hard work and dedication to giving back and supporting women veterans.
