Sandtown’s Own Norman Yancey: Rest Well, Soldier!

By Doni Glover, Publisher

(BALTIMORE – January 26, 2018) – Like many others, I was saddened by the news of the passing of a Sandtown legend, Brother Norman Yancey. I knew him from my days as an employee at Sanfdtown-Winchester’s Transformation Project, otherwise known as Community Building in Partnership, Inc. Quite frankly, Norman taught how to live with coke, dope, and crack. He was my sponsor, as well as the sponsor of many, many people. He had the patience of Job, in my book.

Well, God’s “good and faithful” servant has returned to our Creator. And we pray his eternal journey shall find his spirit finally at peace.

The following is a Message from the Family:
On January 23, 2018, God called Norman home. Although he was a US Veteran, he did not have insurance to assist with the cost of a funeral. The family wants to make sure he receives the homecoming he deserves. Please give what you can. No amount is too small. God Bless.

Help the family pay for the funeral of a Brother, Husband and Friend: Norman Yancey.
