Robert Ingram to be Recognized at Blacktechpreneur, Aug. 3rd, @EDAC in Morgan’s Earl Graves School of Business

(BALTIMORE – July 26, 2017) – Bmorenews and the Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center (EDAC) located in the Earl G. Graves School of Business at Morgan State University are pleased to announce that Robert Ingram, Senior Vice-President for Strategic Programs and Initiatives at, will be recognized with a Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award on August 3, 2017 at Blacktechpreneur.

Blacktechpreneur, “the intersection of business and technology”, is a commemorative event signaling the 15th year of service for Bmorenews. This business networking event and associated workshops will feature some of the brightest business and tech-related professionals and entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Odessa Hopkins (Black Income Shifters) from New York City and Leonard Young ( and from Wilmington, Delaware.

Ingram, a veteran in the world of media advertising, has been a longtime supporter of both Bmorenews and the EDAC. Further, his resume includes some of the top black media outlets in America, including Black Enterprise Magazine and Uptown Professional Magazine.

According to Bmorenews publisher Doni Glover, “Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we are to finally celebrate this icon.” He added, “Consistently throughout his career, Bob has never failed to reach back and help a brother. I will never forget the day he invited some of us Baltimore journalists to the United Nations for a summit on black media. To say the least, it meant and still means the world to us!”

Omar Muhammad, Executive Director of EDAC, agrees. Muhammad said that Ingram is an individual who never forgets from whence he comes and that he is honored to have Ingram as a friend and mentor for some 20 years.
