(BALTIMORE – April 27, 2016) – Has Catherine Pugh declared victory too soon?
According to the Sheila Dixon camp, 8 precincts are missing from the total vote count in yesterday’s Primary Election in Baltimore City. Even more, 5 of those 8 are in West Baltimore. At present, Pugh has 45,360 votes vs. Dixon’s 43,484 – a difference of 2,876.
Sheila Dixon is the former Mayor of Baltimore and got in this race because many Baltimoreans urged her to run again. Folks who know her know that she is a courageous fighter who was born and raised in Baltimore.
Questions remain regarding some 2,500 votes or so.
Another question involves the count on the provisional/absentee vote count.
