(BALTIMORE – March 31, 2016) – Andy Freeman will be among the honorees recognized at Black Wall Street HOWARD STREET set for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Ultimate Concierge, 300 W. 23rd Street.
Who is Andy?
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Andy has been involved in real estate for just over 30 years. Some of the disciplines he has been involved in within the industry include assessing potential deals and development projects, land acquisition and disposition, negotiation and preparation of project and partnership documents, preparation of development budgets, financing, rezoning, procurement of entitlements and permits, selection of contractors, oversight of project development, asset management and property management.
He started his career in real estate in 1985 with one of the largest development/construction management companies in Manhattan, which was responsible for building most of modern New York City. From there Andy moved to the west coast and lived in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 2002, Andy moved to Baltimore, where, for 10 years, he helped to develop the Harborview project on the Inner Harbor, as well as a large land development project in South Carolina. Since then he has been involved in various development projects, both within the city, and in other locations throughout Maryland. He currently works with Klein Enterprises, a development company based in Pikesville. In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and also likes cycling, movies and dining out.
