As a Customer Service Associate for our InSpeed Now Call Center, in our beautiful corporate campus located in Owings Mills, you will utilize our insurance application processing platform, input preapplication information obtained verbally via in-bound phone calls with agents, clients, and prospects, and also conduct outbound calls offering products and services to Baltimore clients and prospects.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

  • Process insurance application information for Baltimore Life products in our InSpeed Now call center.
  • Provide agents/clients/prospects with information about the application and underwriting process
  • Provide agents/clients/prospects with product knowledge of traditional life and annuity products.
  • Navigate through product administration and document work flow systems.
  • You will provide excellent customer service by creating unique touch points, promptly responding to requests or communications, and establishing a trusting relationship with all stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate with teammates and management to achieve team goals.
  • You will participate and engage in trainings to support your job knowledge and overall career growthEducation and Experience:
  • High School Diploma. College degree in related major may substitute for part of work experience requirement.
  • Minimum 1-year previous customer service call center environment experience preferred.
  • Experience in an insurance environment and/or Life and health insurance license preferred.
  • Proficient PC skills including keyboarding and ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Demonstrated previous work experience in a high-pressure team work environment.
  • Presents self in professional manner and has the ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts.

Pay:

$18.75 per hour

We have the following full time and part time shifts available, Monday-Friday:

11:00am – 7:30pm (FT)

12:30pm – 9:00pm (FT)

10:00am – 2:00pm (PT)

11:00am – 3:00pm (PT)

4:00pm – 8:00pm (PT)

JOB SUMMARY:

Work experience in an insurance environment preferred.

Life and health insurance license preferred.

 

COMPETENCIES

 

Proficient computer keyboarding skills. Demonstrated previous work experience in a high pressure team work environment.
