Moonyene Jackson-Amis to be Recognized with Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award, 12.14.16

(TALBOT COUNTY – December 1, 2016) – Bmorenews is proud to announce that Moonyene Jackson-Amis will be recognized with a Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award on Wed., Dec. 14, 2016 (6 to 7 pm – program) at the 14th Anniversary Celebration of Bmorenews at the Winthrop House, 4100 N. Charles St.

Moonyene is the first African American woman to stand for and win election in the 300 plus year history of Talbot County. Moonyene was elected to two four-year terms serving on the Easton Town Council. Easton is the County seat.
