Having grown up in a family business, Glover has a passion for celebrating entrepreneurship. Since 2011, Glover’s team has honored hundreds in New York, Maryland, D.C., Atlanta, and New Orleans. It is called The ORIGINAL Black Wall Street SERIES.

Donald Morton “Doni” Glover is an award-winning journalist, news talk show host, and television political analyst who was born and raised in Baltimore City. He is also the founder and principal of DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, creator of www.bmorenews.com, www.blackatlnews.com, and The ORIGINAL Black Wall Street SERIES *NYC *MD *DC *ATL *NOLA.

Glover first entered the world of print journalism as editor of the Sandtown-Winchester VIEWPOINT from 1994 to roughly 2004. In 1999, he became co-host and ultimately host of what has become the longest-running sponsored news talk show at Radio One in the nation every Tuesday from 10 to 11 am. Around 2000, Glover’s television career began to take root as he started providing political analysis on Baltimore’s NBC affilitate, WBAL TV 11. He’d also appear on other stations, including Maryland Public Television. Eventually, he’d appear on the national scene by way of TV One’s Roland Martin Show and, amidst the tragic death of Freddie Gray in Glover’s own Sandtown community, on CNN with Carol Costello, and other national media, including Fox TV. Glover also did a couple of stints as host of “One Mic” on Morgan State University’s WEAA 88.9 FM.

Having a deep passion for the Black Press, Glover has toiled arduously to provide unique insight on the happenings of Black America, beginning in his hometown. This engrained commitment to telling the story of the black experience has taken him to Canada, Jamaica, Jordan, Tanzania and Ethiopia. It has also taken him to a good portion of the United States, including Portland, Oregon, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Louisville, Kentucky. To date, Glover’s Bmorenews.com has covered political news throughout the State of Maryland and Washington, D.C., including more than 30 visits to the Obama White House.

In 2015, Glover took another leap of faith and penned his first book, “Unapologetically Black: Doni Glover Autobiography”.

Throughout his journalism career, he has come to push five key issues in a most tenacious fashion. They include: black business, public education, ex-offender services, universal access to health care, and affordable housing. His advocacy has often gone beyond the realm of reporting a story. He has been a part of historic lawsuits and legislation in Maryland. Most recently, he was a member of a group of concerned citizens in Baltimore (Voters Organized for the Integrity of City Elections) which helped bring attention to the bungled 2016 Baltimore City Primary where more than 1,800 votes were inappropriately counted. This led to an unprecedented de-certification by the Maryland State Board of Elections.

Further, Glover has helped organize and produce a host of community events that have focused on musical and artistic talent, voting, and Civil Rights issues. He is most proud of a prison ministry he was a part of around 2004. Named “Love for L”, this prison mentoring program reached 14 to 17-year-olds at Baltimore City Jail, all of whom were charged with adult crimes.

He credits God, his late parents, family, friends, teachers and mentors for the success that has followed. Lastly, he claims Morehouse College (‘83-‘85), Coppin State (where he graduated with Honors as a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program under Dr. T.J. Bryan, ‘93-‘96), and Morgan State University (where he is all but thesis on his Master’s degree in International Affairs, ‘96-‘02).

Glover is also the father of one son, Asaan Payton Glover (age 20), and one daughter, N’yinde’ Amaari Glover (age 15).
